Currently in production is a new film about the Forest Of Dean, it's history, beauty, people and it's story as a Royal Forest, called 'Discovering WyeDean' (working title)
The forest of Dean has become an ecological tourist attraction with it's cycle trails, waymarked walks, caves, ancient trees and wildlife. It was once a major industrial centre and still to be seen are many heritage sites ranging from the earliest iron and steel furnaces, free miners and their coal and ochre mines, through to ancient tramways and railways.
With it's ancient castle, abbeys and churches it is an area full of hidden places to explore.
Filmed using the latest drone technology and available in 2019.
The Land Between Two Rivers
Heritage films have also recently completed a film 'The Land Between Two Rivers' featuring the area from the beautiful Wye Valley and through the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. It features stunning aerial videography and the evocative sound of The Forest of Dean Male Voice Choir. It is an excerpt from the new production 'Discovering WyeDean' (working title).
Also available is is a clip about 'Perrygrove Railway', narrated by the owner of the railway David Nelson-Brown and includes a journey along the whole line, sometimes on the footplate and sometimes behind the scenes.
The sights and sounds of the 2018 Christmas Extravaganza in Clearwell Caves, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire recorded live by Chris Richardson-Brand. This will be a clip in the forthcoming "Discovering Wye Dean" film that I hope to complete by the end of summer 2019.
